If you miss going to Irish pubs or watching football, or even if you simply want to speak a little English, there are a lot of places you can go. If you love watching sports on TV, Texas Lone Star Saloon on Calle Placentines is the place you want to head to. The bar shows all the big European football and NFL games as well as NBA and NCAA finals.
An authentic Irish pub is The Trinity on Calle Zaragoza, but don’t forget to stop into Merchant’s Malt House on Calle Canalejas while you’re in the area. Merchant’s has a large selection of beers on tap, which you can enjoy while watching the soccer clubs or rugby teams face off while playing a game of pool. In El Arenal, visit The Clan on Calle Adriano, a Scottish pub that shows European football and rugby games.
If you want to hit an Irish Pub before heading to Calle Betis be sure to check out Madigan’s or Phoenix Pub in Plaza de Cuba, which are good places to watch a game. Also be sure to check out O’Neills in the Viapol building for live music.
If you are just looking to watch some Spanish football, you can join the real fans at pretty much any bar in your neighborhood. As long as the bar has a TV, there will surely be people watching the Saturday night and Sunday league games, especially if the bar has cable.
We hope you have a great time in Sevilla!
