The Heartbeat of Spain: Sevilla

After discovering the heart and soul of Sevilla during our time spent studying here as students several years ago, we made it our mission to give others the same opportunity to experience all that this city has to offer. Of course we spent time traveling across the country, exploring other cities throughout Spain, which is why we are excited to share with you the enchantment of this city tucked away in the southwestern region of Andalucia. There are many beautiful and well-known cities located in central and eastern Spain, such as Madrid and Barcelona, but when looking for a truly authentic and culturally enriching experience, the true magic lies within the streets of Sevilla.

As the home to one of the largest gothic cathedrals in the world, a phenomenal soccer team, and long days full of sun, this city has something to offer to each and every traveler. It isn’t until you have visited Sevilla that you have truly experienced Spain. Spend your days sight-seeing along the Guadalquivir River or climbing to the top of the Cathedral’s Giralda for a breathtaking view of the entire city, and spend your nights venturing from bar to bar for authentic Spanish tapas before experiencing some of the most exciting nightlife in Europe. It won’t take long before your heart belongs to Sevilla.

Another reason Sevilla soars above the rest is its prime location. We are only about an hour away from the beaches of Cadiz, Huelva, and the border of Portugal, which makes for quick and easy travel for those who wish to go beyond the borders of Sevilla. Not to mention we are only 3 hours from the mesmerizing Morocco and the monkey-business taking place at the peak of Gibraltar. While Madrid and Barcelona may be popular destinations for their commercial cosmopolitan atmosphere, Sevilla offers travelers its prime location and a more intimate experience that will leave you counting down the days until you are reunited with the true heartbeat of Spain once again.

We hope you have a great time in Sevilla!
